Women's Retreat in Nature

Deep peace in the Austrian mountains

Reconnect with nature, a community of women, and yourself.

Marietta Strasoldo

I'm Marietta Strasoldo. Hof Berneck is the retreat I've created, to give women of all ages a place to relax, cleanse & come into stillness with nature. In peace, connected to nature & a community of women, we can access deep levels of peace, inner wisdom and calm, empowering us to feel joy & return to our lives with a new perspective and strength.

The retreat is held at my farm in the mountains of Austria. Overlooking Lake Lunz, in my yoga studio, garden & grounds, you will have space to just be. Over four nights & three days, guided by an Ayurvedic chef, you will eat nourishing, clean food from my garden; do gentle, reviving yoga, learn about plants & herbs here and receive sound healing. Every day, we eat three communal meals together. It's a simple & gentle programme: one specifically designed to help women nourish, cleanse and calm themselves.

High Summer Retreat

Summer is a time of opening.

The days grow longer, the sun lingers, and the garden flourishes in its full abundance. Nature reminds us what it means to live fully, to grow, to receive, and to belong.

Perhaps you feel connected to that.

Or perhaps, under the pressure of everyday life, you've lost touch with the quieter place within you that feels, breathes and rejoices in life.

At the High Summer Retreat, we come together at the height of summer. We bring whatever we are carrying: our heaviness, our joy, our excitement. We come as we are, and for three days step away from the demands of everyday life into a protected space where we can reconnect with ourselves, with nature, and, when it feels right, with one another.

Our High Summer Retreat is characterised by…

  • The glowing presence of the summer sun.
  • Total immersion in the sanctuary of Hof Berneck.
  • Gentle morning yoga sessions and sound healing in the Hof Berneck studio.
  • Evening hand pan by the fire, under the stars.
  • Intentional communal meals in the beauty of nature.
  • Carefully prepared Ayurvedic food by Ingrid, shared with love, care and wisdom.
  • Discovering herbs, spices and the Ayurvedic palate and principles, guided by Ingrid throughout the retreat.
  • Pond dips.
  • A visit to Lake Lunz.
  • Gentle conversations and quiet companionship, held within a supportive circle of women.

Supported by the gentle practice we offer, the High Summer Retreat is a space to reconnect with ourselves, with nature, and with creative flow. We'd love you to join.

Mariella T.

My days at Hof Berneck were unforgettable. They were filled with a deep connection to nature, open conversations and women who were open to new experiences and personal development.

I was very grateful for the shared routine of yoga, singing bowls and meals. I quickly found my way back to myself and was able to bring parts of this routine into my daily life straight away. It does not have to be a full hour of yoga. Small steps, beginning with lukewarm lemon water and a few exercises, are enough.

The singing bowls were the highlight for me. I can recommend them to everyone. It is like a massage for the soul. The experience touched me deeply and continued to resonate long afterwards.

Inge is the cherry on top: a fantastic cook with deep knowledge and a patient way of explaining her culinary art. Her simple, practical tips and spice blends make it possible to improve your daily habits without demanding total perfection. Step by step, at your own pace, in the right direction.

I can only recommend this retreat and I am already looking forward to returning.

Never have four days felt so timeless and relaxing as they did at this charming and loving yoga retreat, high above Lake Lunzer. A paradise.

Introduced gently to yoga and Ayurveda by hosts Marietta and Ingrid, we rediscovered mindfulness, our bodies and our relationship with food.

All meals were freshly prepared using vegetables and salads grown on the land. It was a wonderful experience that filled me with gratitude.

Four days that felt like four weeks of deep relaxation. An unforgettable experience. Heartfelt thanks to both of you.

Claudia M. S.

It was a complete immersion in nature, with restorative yoga for the body and soul, delicious and healthy Ayurvedic food and wonderful company.

This authentic and profound experience helped me reconnect with myself. I also learned how to integrate beneficial habits into everyday life, with effects that have been both remarkable and long-lasting.

I am extremely grateful to Marietta and look forward to returning to this heavenly place.
